15 years ago, Andrew (a painter by trade) was working on a major commercial project when he hit an unexpected snag: there was nowhere to wash his tools. What started as a practical problem quickly became a deeper environmental wake-up call. In searching for solutions, Andrew discovered that most treatment plants couldn’t properly handle construction wastewater, meaning much of it ended up polluting our waterways. Realising this wasn’t just about convenience but about protecting our environment, he set out to change the game. That’s how Washbox was born.
